The Bachelor of Science at the ANU is typically a 3-year degree, which gives the students a solid foundation in their core courses while allowing students the freedom to select some electives and broaden their knowledge. In the final year, students can specialise, opening up a whole new suite of classes and opportunities such as research projects.
My pathway gave me a strong basis in physics and mathematics, while my specialisation gave me the tools and motivation to pursue my studies within the field of astronomy.
